how hard is it to swap heads

Im geting a set of prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads soon with my stock cam and ive heard swaping heads isnt to hard just takes time and ive been under the hood many time just not to much with internal engine and the only thing im nervious about is torqueing the heads i saw how they do it on ls1howto but is that the right way has anyone else done it differently? Thanks

Follow that guide, take your time, and you should be good to go. Why not install a cam at the same time?

The guys who say it easy always amuse me. Very doable but not a fun job by any means. Just curious... are you gonna you use studs, ARP's or GM TTY bolts?

I heard heads are easy, but cam is more difficult. Is that true?

I'd say that its true. Heads for the most part just bolt on. A cam install is quit a bit more complex (alot of things to make sure that are lined up and installed correctly)

heads are not hard at all if you take your time! The hardest part of doing a head swap is getting the 2 ground bolts undone on the back side of the drivers side head. Other then that, its pretty easy sailing.

It's not too hard, you just have to take you time and be patient. Don't break the oil sending unit that is located behind the intake. I took my time and managed not to break it.
