Default cammed ls1's whats ur idle?

im just wondering what you guys cars are idling at. so please post your cam specs and idle rpm.

mine is 575/578 lift, 232/236 duration, with a 110 lsa
and it idles around 900-950 or 850 with the a/c on which makes it sound choppy as hell

Mine idled at 650 with a mail order tune from wait4me, I recently bumped it to 725 just because it sometimes didn't want to catch idle coming from drive to park or neutral

Lightweight clutch/flywheel and I'm solid roller

By the time the tune is finished it will most likely be 1000-1050

well you could get someone with a handheld to bump it down a little bit..

but i would suggest taking it to a professional tuner.. i only let my tuner tune my car..

you could try adjusting the screw on your TB a little.. but you probably wont be able to bring it down too much.. maybe 50 rpms or so..

If its set in your PCM to idle at ____RPM, then the PCM will do everything it can to keep the motor at that RPM regardless of what mechanical changes you make.
