Wow man, so many choices ??!!!??
What is this motor going in ??
TFS 245's, Sheetmetal intake, Custom cam. Not going to hazard a guess on a cam for this monster.
Give Ron at Vengeance Racing a call and tell him Doug sent ya. The number is in my AVATAR....I am sure Ron can give you some serious recommendations and even a quote for the parts. Good luck !

TFS 245's like mine, severely ported LS7's, and/or custom everything else. you're going to want to ask you questions on the phone with a builder. Give Bryan at LME, Erik at HKE, or Ron at Vengeance a call. Erik built my engine, but i've dealt with the others on the phone and they are AWESOME. they'll be able to answer your questions better than anyone else on here

I would certainly recommend a set of PRC LS7 heads. We had one of our 454 LSX engines on the dyno last year, and it produced 750 flywheel HP with the PRC LS7's! This was a radical cam, though. We stepped it down to something a little more street-friendly and still put out 720. Our last install was into a '98 Trans Am WS-6 M6, and it put down 610 RWHP!
You have a big bore, so select a head that can use it. I'd go PRC LS7's all the way. We even have a 454 cid LSX short-block in stock if you need a 24X reluctor setup. Feel free to give us a call, and any of our sales guys will be happy to discuss your options with you. We can also put an estimate together for you that will show the total shipped to your door!

just a thought here...but why not just keep the GM set up? 620hp not enough?
or i guess before i ask that i should ask whats your budget and whats your hp/et goal?

Guys we have a 454 LSX short-block that Trevor has told the sales guys to sell on the cheap! Give us a call if your looking for a LSx 454 NA motor & the guys can put together a very nice quote for you!! We're overstocked on a few different size short-blocks and that's one of them!!!

Yea if budget is not a factor. Look into some All PRO LSW heads.
Pricey, but well worth the money.
Also on the intake if like before budget is no factor. I would look into Beck Intakes.

This is a budget choice for sure.
You can go with PRC LS7 heads for a lot less money than a set of All Pro LSW heads so it really comes down to how much you want to spend.
We've got a 454, few 457's and a 440 and going right now and the customers are using: PRC LS7 heads, TFS 245's and All Pro LSW's so we see it all.
The AP's flowing at 400+ are a very very nice head and built incredibly sturdy but your going to pay for them as well. Example for you.. TSP has the PRC's for around $2250 complete IIRC if you dont go with Titanium valves and a few upgrades. BUT the AP's start at $3200 bare.
I have a customer right now who has a 454 he has to sell, its not quite finished being built but his dad got sick and he needs the money now to help so if you are ready to buy I would like to put his 454 in front of the line to help him out. ( I've been paid it's not about me trying to make money for me, it's about me trying to help him and his dad)
HKE has one of the best reputations around so your in good hands as far as that goes.
