Starting my H/C swap soon, last minute questions
Ok so I am starting my H/C swap soon and I have some last minute questions. So first off current mods are lid and magnaflow CB and this is a list of whats going in, tools and gaskets:
LS6 intake
Cam 232/236 .579/.579 114lsa
243 heads
918's
LS7 lifters and trays
Chromoly 7.350 pushrods
LS6 oil pump
LS2 timing set
ARP head bolts
MLS head gaskets
Front main seal
Water pump gaskets
Timing cover gasket
New crank bolt
2 gallons of dexcool
6qts of cheap-o oil
3 claw puller
Crank pully install tool
Pushrod legnth checker
Redline asembly lube
High temp RTV
So here are the questions
DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE EVERYTHING?
The 243 heads didn't come with the rockers can iuse my ls1 rockers? if not whats the next step up from stock since dont have much more funds....
Injectors...do i need/should I upgrade?
What power do you think ill be putting down?
Whats next for upgrades?

If it was me, I would wait until you gather up some more $$ and buy some used LT's/Y pipe to swap in while you have the motor apart.
I just did a header install not too long ago, and it would be a bitch to put all the stock **** on and then do a LT install a month or two later.

Yeah bro, list looks pretty good there. I would try to get some LT's too, why put the stock manis' back on, your gonna need to tune the car with the new heads/cam/intake, I'm sure you could fina a set of used LTs for several hundred dollars, do it all at once and your gains will be even more.

None....they are brand new but after doing research I found that when upgrading to ls7 lifters you end up needing shorter than stock PR's, stock being 7.400. Alot of the people running the ls7 lifters are using 7.350PR's from what i have read on here...

I just sold my c6 rims tonight so ill be getting LT's,ORY and cut out.
Im glad too because we just put on the GF's LT's and TSP duals what a bitch
that was!!
I am planning on having the car down for two days with the first day being the main day and the second just to check everything over...but we will see.

Ha ha, now I know my 7.400 PRs won't work. I was going to buy the ls7 lifters when I got my swap going. So, looks as though I have yet another part i won't be able to use.

Also, I forgot to put this in my first post but it would really help the torque even more if you had those 243's milled down to get you around 11:1 compression man.
Then you would need even shorter push rods, but you have a checker so you wouldnt be down for too much longer.
It will make it sound nastier as well.

Add an
-accurate torque wrench,
-can or two of brake parts cleaner, (for cleaning sealing surfaces)
-2 gallons of distilled water, (for mixing w/ Dexcool, don't use hard tap water)
-valve stem seals?
