Default "Ebay" Head Studs?

Anyone seen them advertised on Ebay?

$109.99 buy it now?

Think they'd be any good?

Just curious.

I DID search, and found nothing. I am huge search forum advocate! lol

Could you get by with them...maybe. They might work fine for you and be one of those ebay finds. Should you risk your engine for that small of a price difference, personally I wouldnt. Id email the seller and get info on them like what theyre made of, strength of the materials, etc before you bought them.

Although you can find some brand name stuff on ebay for good deals and good vendors... for the most part Ebay is the worlds flea market that sells knock off look a like products that cost pennies to make and are total junk.

I found some more info on these studs. They are made by a company called Procomp. Never heard of anyone using them before. Below is the company website.

http://www.procompelectronics.com/in...ategory_id=782

Also below is a link to the website of a company selling these studs on ebay.

http://www.kmjent.com/

Buy at your own risk I suppose! Just giving you guys a little more info!

For the record, I used arp torque specs, and engine oil at 25,50 and 80 ft lbs and this happened. Second one I took to 80. Took 2 hours to get out of the block using the old stud and a screwdriver.

They broke BECAUSE you used ARP values which are for a different grade steel.
