best bang for the buck is a stock 243 or 799.
they support over 500bhp with cam an supporting bolts on just about any
5.7+ engine.

There is no difference between the two.

They are an OEM head for the LS motors

What kind of budget are you on? We have several CNC'd GM casting options available with some starting right around $1000. Shoot me a PM or post up what you are looking to do with the car and what is done to it currently and I'm sure we can get you a cylinder head to do everything you are wanting and reach your goals for the car.

Thanks!
Jon

real ls6 heads used lite weight sodium filled valves.
all other vehicles using 243 had regular valves. 243 are found on vettes, gto's trucks. so are 799

the range depends on use or condition, from 350-400+$ usually
they flow significantly more than stock 241

Yes like mentioned the 243's where for the Corvette the 799 where for the truck but they flow the same. You can put the hollow and sodium filled valves on the 799s you'll have the same as the 243s. Go on ebay and you'll find a good deal on either one.

I have the 243 set up with the hollow and sodium filled, cnc'd, milled, but i went with the Comp 921 springs. Bullet proof and i am pushing more than 500bhp since I am pushing 450 C5 LS1 to the rear through an A4. 243 heads will support way more than 500bhp. Break Horse Power (BHP) means to the crank and I know plenty of ZO6s where I am from with 243s running 500+rwhp.

If your trying to see what any specific one has just look under the hood the casting number is very easy to spot.

I thought the 799 had larger combustion chambers compared to the 64cc 243 heads. maybe I'm mistaken
