I got a set of long shank carbide burrs (4 shapes)
off eBay, and used an electric die grinder (ditto)
with a dimmer for speed control. I made a deep-
reach flap sander out of a piece of 1/4" round
stock with a lengthwise slit cut in it, with a Dremel
cutoff disc, to hold a piece of "plumber's roll".

I think I had less than $30 into it all told (grinder
and burrs), the rest was stuff already on hand.

Just at little advise, don't lower your floors try to just clean them, if you lower the floors you kill the flow in a hurry.

I have the standard abrasives kit from summit. I just wanted some longer mandrels & I bought a carbide cutter yesterday, which I doubt i'll use much. I have some 806 heads to practice on before I start on my other heads. I don't plan on touching the floor besides minor smoothing. I'm gonna take the rocker boss out, open up the bowls very little, take down the material around the valve guides and smooth/blend everything, that's it. Oh, and take a little material off the top of the intake ports & exh. ports.

I will try to get pics up when i'm done. I flycut my pistons & ported my TB this past weekend. First time for either. Got a little aggressive on the TB & cut thru a thin part lol. Can easily be fixed with epoxy though.

Thanks for the help.
