HAHA yeah I had a 239/240 .600/.609 on a 111 LSA and even after a decent dyno tune things like rough idle, bucking, and even dieing at startup or a stop are all pretty much expected depending on the shop that tunes the car, if they drive tune it as well as dyno it, gear ratio, and stall size.
Overall I loved my last setup....just wasn't that happy with the tune. Try to think past the way your car will sound and be aware of what you are doing. Good luck.

I haven't personally driven a big cam, but from everything I've read, drivability is in the tune and in the person. If the person can stand a little surging at low rpms then he will probably handle a big cam. Although you will lose low end torque, who races <3000rpm??
I definitely will be going a big cam in the future, most likely a polluter.

i drive my car 80-100 miles a week with my MS4, not quite DD but more often than my Vette and i love it. Spend extra money if needed and get someone who has done big cam tunes before and knows what they are doing, its worth it in the end

im looking at this ms4 as well with a set of ls6 stage 2.5 prc heads fast intake and tb with a yank pro 3800 stall... having the same worries... i dont know how many good tuners i have out here in the chicago area since ive heard mixed revies on the big 3 that are around..... i dont dd the car but id like it to work on the street when i want to cruise... decisons decisions!!! im afraid ill go with to small of a cam and be disappointed.

I DD my car with a 231/235 and 4k stall with 3.73's and its awsome! Long as your car is tuned good you'll love it. I'm assuming the 3 your speaking of are Speed Inc., Straightline Perf., and Finishline Performance? If so you can't really go wrong with any, straightline did great with my car and I cant say enough how helpful and cool people they are to deal with, however from now on it will be going to speed since a friend works there and I know i'll be fully taken care of. Also I believe finishline was rated as one of the top 3 ls1 tuners or shops in teh country or something like that so you can't go wrong there either.

I do, but with an M6, drive 250+ miles a week in all kinds of traffic. No real problems, little bucking at less than 1500 IF you are too weak on the throttle. Occasionally it has to hunt for an idle, I usually will let off the gas before applying the brakes so I can make sure it finds idle. It mostly drives like stock, no complaints here.
