Cali is a beautiful state but the progressives are killing it for people living there, and businesses too.

You can still have a fun car though with a cam, CARB legal headers and some gears, and the right tuning.

What about some mac mids with california legal carsound cats in the Y-pipe like I did? I got a custom y-pipe for the headers with a flowmaster 3" merge and it's not too restrictive, with my TR224 it is 380rwhp. Should look stock to most people and also pass the sniffer.

Before the custom y-pipe, Borlamouth, and ported TB it was only 350hp/360tq, That was with the stock exhaust though.

just put a cheatr or equivalent and call it a day. you'll be 25-30 hp down from a ORY LTed 224r but will keep good average power so it won't be "30hp" slower and you won't sell the car when your inspection is up

I agree. I wish the god damn state would fall off into the ocean because it is doing nothing but bring the rest of the country down with its liberal bullshit.

Well except for all the hot chicks.

Seriously though that state is messed up.

Back to your regular programming.

Sorry about the thread drift, but it's pretty interesting to compare California with Texas, both are border states with about a 33% Hispanic population, one is collapsing, the other is flourishing, yet our government is jamming California-like policies down our throats. You gotta wonder how smart these people really are with their Ivy League degress, "literate idiots."

Ok, back to the regular programming.

gt11 would benefit from ported heads or i wouldnt bother beating the **** out of the valvesprings like that one will. with ported heads that will more power than a ORY LTed 224r.

if you want like no spring maintenance and less power GT2-3.

bump for an old thread. i'm removing my "aftermarket exhaust" for smog. i've never dyno'd with stock exhaust so i'm guessing i'll lose 20-30hp if not more.
