I might take you up on that. I like the way the cam sounds and really haven't been able to get on it much so i couldn't tell you about performance yet. And the tuner is a kid thay says he knows the owner of BRE, is going to be going to sam school (he says) and getting a job at HKE (he says)within the year.

this is an issue other then the cam and you keep talking about still getting rid of the cam. There is an underlying problem here and once you fix it you may love the cam to death.

I'm thinking of buying HP Tuners and trying to learn how to tune myself, but I don't want to learn how to tune the hard way. The person that was tuning my car was using HP tuners.

Nitroused383, It's a local person that has just tuned a few f-bodys and such.

01ssreda4, I agree, and if the cam is fine when I pull heads to change lifters, I might just leave it in there.

I wonder if I take it to TSP and pay them to tune it if that will be my best choice. I've heard that they leave a little to be desired with their tuning, but I personally have had no problems with them or any of their products.

Get a good tune. Go to a well known LSX tuner. If you are anywhere near NC/VA hit up Frost(VA)or RPM(NC)

I will just say you can't go wrong with Frost(Also does mail order) or RPM if you are around here.

That's the popular line of thinking. Good luck. I'd never buy a cam that I couldn't get the specs on. If you're going to make a cam that is 'Super Secret' on the specs, it better hold records, perform great on the street, or at least have something going for it worth keeping secret.
