Best cam only option for my current mods(pt4000)
I think I want to get into a vette or something nicer. But I would like to have fun with the car all summer. I had plans to go H/C/9 but for the money I can just sell this and buy something.
That said Im thinking a cam would be a good cheap upgrade that should bring the fun back into this thing for me. So based on my current mods, whats a good cam for me to start researching? Something thats going to go well with my stall.
Ill be tuning this with efilive so tuning $$$ is not a worry.

I searched your name now search mine on YouTube
yeah it is a good cam but I think it is more dedicated to a drag setup vs a car he wants to enjoy more on the street...just better cams that have more tq down low and don't give up to much up top...my 230 cam is perfect example...
op just do some research and make your own judgment call...don't just go by dyno numbers...good luck

look at the texas speed tv.2 or tv.3 cams, your stall will love those cams and the duration is right for stock heads. dual springs are a must along with pushrods, oil pump, and ls2 timing chain.
the tv2 cam will put you near 390 hp and the tv3 will pull harder on top and may peak 10hp higher or so.
Both cams are great and I know many people running the tv2 cam on the street and a few running the tv3 as well.

I dont DD this either, It sits in a garage. doesnt have to be tame, I just want something to suit my mods/stall for max performance without heads or 90mm intakes.
originally I was looking at the torquer3 when I was thinking heads
