Not sure if there is or not, but I bet the specs would be similar to the MS4 except a little bigger...

Thought the 233/239 has been referred to the MS family at one time. Its a great cam that many overlook.

There was an MS1 and 2, ages ago. The 233/239 is in the XS family of cams according to our website. I don't even know what the XS family of lobes is, or where the name came from!

THe MS5 is not being released as of yet, and when it is it will not be the same as what was in our racecar to run the 9.66 at Memphis last year. Jason threw that out there for some odd reason, and someone at GMHTP published it for some other odd reason, and now the phones ring off the hook all day with people asking about it.

I don't know why people get so wrapped up around the names. A cam is a cam and specs are specs.

I doubt you can get much bigger.. Already one of the largest cams you can stick into an LS1 without fly cutting with un-milled heads.

I was thinking that someone saw my post that was meant as a semi-joke in a thread that was from yesterday.

Actually, a few of our competitor's "max effort" camshafts along the same lines as the MS4 are a decent bit larger in duration and some in lift too. We could go bigger and kill more piston to valve clearance like they do, but that's not fair to customers to tell them they have clearance when it's as little as .020"! If/when we release another Magic Stick, it will still have more PtoV than our competitors, rest assured!

Any chance you could divulge the specs of this nameless cam? Don't make me call and ask about the MS5!
