Default Am i asking for it?

Running a TR224/224-112 cam (.563 lift) with stock LS6 heads/stock pushrods with yellow LS6 springs-some people say those are good to .550 some say .590 Thing'll probably never see 6k RPM anyway

I agree....not worth the cost of an engine failure.

I agree with everyone else. Go get a good set of springs and push rods before something goes wrong.

Well stock springs are known to float on stock cams after a little wear so put some PAC 1218's in there and forget about it for a while or baby that sucker and watch your RPM's...

The rating that we are all aware of is .550. That may be what they have rated those yellow stripes to just to keep people from running too much cam on them. PR's and springs are about the cheapest insurance you can get for your valvetrain.
