Default Thunder Racing or Texas Speed

I am getting ready to purchase a cam/spring/locks/push rod package. Trying to decide between a Raptr and a MS3. My question is who has better customer service. I've talked to both on the phone and am leaning one way, just wanted everyone's feedback on them.

Theyre both great sponsors. I dealt with both with no problems at all.

I haven't ever bought anything from texas speed, but when i talked to them they always treat me well. I live really close to thunder and go there all the time. Thunder is a great place and they have wonderful service. Im always stopping by to get something. If i was you i would chose the one that is closer to home.

I've never dealt with Thunder, but TSP always answers my questions and I just ordered my cam package from them and I'm very satisfied with the service.

I appreciate everyone's feedback. I spoke to both on the phone, but only one seemed helpful or interested in talking to me. Wanted everyone's experiences to see if mine was a fluke.

I have got stuff from both and service was good at both. Like was said above, I would pick the one that is closest to you so maybe freight charges will be a little cheaper.

IMO, TR seems to have the power under the curve where TSP seems to dwell in top end/high rpm numbers. But I've had my car tuned at TSP and both are good retailers.

I've dealt with one, asking which springs I should get or if I'm missing anything when I am ordering and he had no opinions to offer and just stayed quiet. I am about to drop 1k over the phone and you can't help me out?

I couldn't remember which spring kit to get, but he couldn't help me out so I said the PRC kit. I think that was the one with .650 lift.

Didn't offer to sell me the timing chain or oil pump, so i picked that up somewhere else.

And why the hell can i provide a billing address but can't have a different ****** shipping address....sorry but this kind of upset me.

Credit card fraud is the last answer. I used to get pissed as well when I was younger till I realized what goes on. If you buy stuff you need to get that card billed to where you want your parts delivered and it makes everything way easier.

I have sent emails to both about a h/c kit and received no response from either of them. So, I guess i am going to find another seller who wants to take my money.

I have done business with both shops. I think they are both good but I prefer Texas over thunder. Texas answers my e mails and Pm's a lot quicker and they ship asap. If their is a back order they will call you instead of leaving you in the dark. I use to be die hard thunder but Texas has won most of my business simply because they have excellent customer service and tech support!

Its sunday if ur talking about today and also, email IS NOT the best way to get a hold of a company as big as each are. You will have better luck with PM's or just plain calling is always best. i wouldnt jjust disregard a compnay because they wouldnt email u back one time...and you cant order thru emial so its better to just call.
