I think you can hit 7000 rpm with about 20 degrees less duration and 30 degrees less overlap in a 346.
For the OP - Really large cams are like a really large dick: it all sounds good on paper, and its cool when you first get it going, but then you realize it's worthless for just about everything....
A cam in the 230's with the right valve events will do everything well without being such a pain in the *** to setup, tune, drive in traffic, etc. Since you are measuring the use in miles, this doesn't sound like a track only car.

I don't really care if gets walked by grandma in a wheelchair. I'm just trying to figure out some specs to see just how far I can push the envelope as far as the valvetrain goes on a 346. I've got a 6.0 lined up to build. I guess I just feel like giving my buddy that'll be tuning it a headache
