Question Cam suggestions??

Well... I want a cam that will make about 400 to 410 rwhp on stock heads. I want a nasty idle, I dont have to pass emissions, and I dont mind changing springs every couple years or so, wont see much if any n20, and I dont want to spin it up past 6600. I was looking at the TR230, X1, and the TSP 232/228. I've also looked at the Comp 228/230 on High Lift lobes. But Im not limited to one of these, Im open to any suggestion. Which cam has seen the best results? Also, would any advance be beneficial? Thanks

Try a reverse split. I had unported 5.3 heads w/2.02 1.55's and an F1 spec'd comp grind. I made 438rwhp 418 tq with stock gears and mac headers. Reverse cams can make a lot of power, but are best used with 4.10's.

F1-.591/.569 230/226 112 Normally this is a lunati grind, but i ground it on xer comp lobes with 0 advance ground in.

The tsp 231/237 will definitly get you 400 to 410. I think it is a proven cam.

TSP 231/237: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ight=231%2F237

This is the cam I plan on running in my car. It's nice to see the good dyno numbers but I care more about track numbers. With this cam and a good tune I should see great results, and it should work great with my high stall.
