Intentions for car?
Are you going to/do you have....
Spend the money on FAST setup
Have an awesome tuner
4000+ converter
410 or lower gear
spin it 6400+ RPMs
free flowing exhaust
when you get heads, are you going to get heads that can flow enough for that cam
Very few setups "need" a TREX (or similar size) IMO.

A custom grind will make more power if you know exactly what your setup is going to be... But the TREX has proven itself over and over.

You will be fine running that cam then... If me I would go with a mamofied 102/102 setup.. Just depends on how much you want to spend.. A normal FAST setup would get the job done decently though.

Just depends on who you ask to spec the cam for you really. Talk to Geoff at EPS. He probably helped on the design if not 100% of it, for the TRex from the get go. Its going to cost the same amount of money, so I would put my $375.00 in the hands of a conscious cam spec'r.

Is this car a daily driver? You're gonna hate the 4.30 gears in an auto and it won't make it to the end of the track in 3rd gear without some tall tires. I'd suggest 3.73 if this is a daily driver and at most 4.10's if for the track.

Ever wonder why there are ton of big cam cars out there that get drug by MUCH MUCH smaller cam cars? That is the reason. People put these huge cams in and try to make it street friendly with a 3500 converter/373s/ls6 intake for money purposes/etc etc etc and it just destroys the setup. Where as a bit smaller cam you can go with those things and it is a perfect setup, making it faster.
This is a max effort cam, if you don't want to go max effort then pick another cam.. There is no arguing that.

Horrible advice.. If someone doesn't have the ***** to DD a car with a TREX/MS4/Etc along with the supporting bolt ons (410s or lower, 4000 converter or bigger, etc etc etc) then that cam is not for them.
