Default what cam for TFS220?

I decided to upgrade to some TFS 220 heads. What duration split do they like? What LSA and ICL will work best with these heads. I have a 2000 346 with a fast 92/92 combo.1.75 header ,3" Y-pipe,and a 4" I-pipe.A4-3000 stall, and 3.23 gears. I bought this cam to use with the stock #241s ,215/223 ,112lsa+5 .604/.610.Would this cam work?

With that Y pipe you probably want a cheater style cam, something like 224/252 110 lsa What are your goals for the car? Cruiser or bruiser? Good driver or badass sounding car with tons of hp? Your current cam will be leaving a lot on the table.

sorry mistype.I was sobber.the current cam was intended for the stock #241s.I feel it has too much duration split for the trick flow head.I like the LSA,and the ICL. I want to find out what cam these heads work best with.I will probably call EPS,but I want to hear what everybody else thinks.

I have tfs220 heads with a 228/236 cam while the dyno only said 400rwhp the car feels much stronger then that. My tuner said his dyno isnt very nice to peoples feelings lol. I have run a 11.94 at 118 with a very crappy 2.01 sixty foot dam crappy street tires.

Once again what are you looking for out of the car? What LSA and ICL you like has nothing to do with what you want out of your car. I hope you're not sober haha.

Default VRX5 cam

I just purchased the same heads from Vengeance Racing in a kit with the following cam. VRX5 - 236/238, .601/.605 113 LSA. You can check out their web site, this is their 575 hp kit.

I'm running stock LS1 bottom end, M6 car with kooks LTs, ORY, GMMG exhaust, Fast 92 intake w/92 ported TB and 25% under drive pulley.

I will post the dyno numbers after the build, looking at 3-4 weeks for heads to come in. Having them milled 25 thousands.

Just a street car and 1/8 mile track times when I get it sorted out.

that where I got them from. their head /cam combo is great.I feel I want a little less cam than what you are running. vengeance dose a lot of work with these heads, they'll know what cam to use.
