I was going to have my EPS cam up and running next week, but I forgot to order new valve seals for the heads.. so looks like I'm back to 2 weeks. It's a 234/246 110+3, which is 20 degrees of overlap. I'm going with Spohn solid motor mounts to keep the engine in place.

you are probably leaving ~30hp/tq on the table if you dont have headers and new xpipe on yet.

yeah headers make a huge difference even on a stock motor. You are choking that cam with your current manifolds.

Yeah right after you ordered your cam the next thing you should have ordered should have been some 1 7/8 LT for it. Now if your going to stay below 600 hp 1 3/4 LT will be fine. Make sure you do a 3" collector no matter what size primaries you do this will help with the scavenging affect and also keep your restriction to nothing. Also you can do a 3"X 2 1/2" X pipe also to cut down on restriction and help with keeping your cat back. I would say this and its just advice. You should gather everything you are going to need or want to get before doing anything else.

Reason you are going to have to tune for every single thing you do from now on. Get your FAST get your LT, what injectors are you running. I would do 42's they will support up to 600 rwhp this will make sure your not running more than 80% duty cycle on your injectors. I would also jump to a 90MM tb set up if you haven't already. But your biggest concern right now is getting LT you are leaving a lot on the table that no tune is going to be able to pick up.

keep us informed and good luck.

Depending on where you work...it is probably someone sending it on behalf of the CEO.

kinda late on the update but i did the headers set up about 3 months after the cam set up .... this is what i got..

i went with LG motorsports "street series" longtube headers 1 3/4 , with catless x pipe got it retuned the day after the install..

and the car put down 433 RWHP 400 RWTQ

i went from 380 RWHP to 433 RWHP
went from 360 RWTQ to 400 RWTQ

big difference in power my tuner said i was choking the crap out of the cam with out headers thats why the numbers were not tht high when i did the cam swap before the headers..

base line numbers on the stock c5 z before i started modding was 325 rwhp dnt remember the torque numbers

what do you guys think about the end result??
