Default Best cam for my setup? - HELP!!

Ok, my car and current mods are in sig. Ive added a ls6 intake though and soon will be putting a cam in! But idk what cam to choose, Im going to have stock tb, stock 241 heads, and 273s but will be switching to 373s. Any advice as to which cam i should get? Ive been looking at the tsp 228r

I would say a thunder racing 224 maybe on a 112 or 114 lsa. I'm no cam expert but alot of the cars that are daily driven run this cam. Also if you have somebody that's awesome with cams, have them spec one out for you. TSp 228 is going to be a little harder on driveability and idle(I believe). But on the other hand if you have a awesome tuner he can make the cam alot smoother, driveable, ect. with a great tune. Again, I'm no expert but alot of people run those tr224/224 cams and seem to be a good mix of driveability and performance. With supporting mods it should be around 400 hp too, which would be great.

I dont really care about dyno numbers, I just wanna run 11.5XX or better. Currently it runs 12.20s which i think is pretty decent for bolt ons

If you still want killer streetability and large power band I recommend Thunder Racing RapTR.... work awesome with stock heads.... you can get to 500 with that cam with some upgrades down the road. I made 435 rwhp with RapTR, stock 243 heads and stock LS6 intake..... with FAST 92 and better heads I'll make much more.

BTW.... this cam LOVES nitrous!!!! Give Thunder Racing a call 225-754-RACE

Get a custom grind based around your 3.6k stall.
IMO give Geoff at EPS a call about a custom grind, or Futral Motorsports, TSP, or any other site sponsors.

I would recommend the TSP Torquer2, as I have personal experience with it. I daily drove it and with consistent 11.8Xs with it in a full weight 6 speed car.
