Texas Speed has a lot of nice choices so go to there website or give them a call and they can point u in the right direction. Also there is a section on that stuff on our website that says how to make 500rwhp.

IF you look under streetsweeper cam, there are a couple guys with this cam and either ETP heads or performance induction heads that made between 480-515 rwhp. I have this cam and love it so far. Fast enough for me with 405 rwhp.

is it a street car?? DD?? Weekend Warrior?? Drag strip only car?? What kind of trans, etc. I mean you can get 500 h/c but then add rear end, trans work, and your powertrain will eat it if your a drag car.
I think it was TR that had their stroker cam in a 383 that made like 540 or something crazy like that haha. It can definitly be done with the right amount of money invested and the right parts used.

Man I would read throught the stickies above. I would just get a good head cam combo. and find a good tunner.
There is so many factors. Do you have a built trans? a stock one will not hold the H.P.
And a 500 hp ls1 motor is alot unless you have a great set of heads and cam. Then the right trans gear combo.

If you really want to stroke it. Don't spare any expense with heads and intake or you might regret it.
I had the same thing in mind that you do and in the end I went with very nice components as i didn't want to have an under-achieving stroker that would get smacked by equal weight heads/cam ls1 cars.
