majority will say use what you can afford..5.3s will bump up your compression..so you can squeeze out some..the LS6s will FLOW..im considerin both for my set up..i think ill keep a watch on this thread

A great price, but TSP offers both 5.3 and LS6 based heads as well.

TEA LS6 heads will beat them both...... And the 5.3 heads don't give the big compression bump many think. The chambers are opened up for the bigger 346 bore so they actually are 63cc and a little change so the difference is negligible over an LS6 head....

We have had good results with both LS6 and 5.3l heads. LS6 heads will typically give a little more top end power where the smaller runner and smaller combustion chamber of the 5.3l head will give more compression. Good luck with your purchase!

If you are looking for compression then just mill the LS6 heads.

Then you get flow and compression.

yes stg 2.0 tea ls6 heads or the best bang for the buck in my eyes now are the 220 as cast TFS heads for 1680 plus free pushrods in any length...i believe rpm is having the sale...also free milling and shipping
