85mm vs 90mm tb and intake

I'm running a torquer v2 on a stock ls1 short block with patriot stage 2 ported heads. Right now I have a 85mm TB and the ls6 intake, I'm looking at upgrading to a 90mm PMT TB with a 90mm intake. How much hp can I expect to gain?

well you may have a 85mm TB but unless you ported out the opening on your intake you only have a 78mm tb actually.

with a fast 90 you looking at 10-20 hp depending on mods

Its a FAST intake and a PTM 90mm. I'm not sure what the 85mm is yet, it came with the block that's being shipped.

you lost me!! you getting or have a ls6 and a fast intake?? ptm 90mm and a 85mm throttle?

intake - throttle
78mm - 85mm-bad
78mm - 90mm-bad
90mm - 90mm-good

Sorry. I have a ls6 intake and a 85mm TB. I'm looking at upgrading to a FAST 90mm intake and a 90mm PTM TB. I don't know the brand of the 85 mm TB.

ok the ls6 intake is good for a stock set up!! but that 85mm tb doesn't help!! I see you are running a torquer v2 cam and patriot stage 2 ported heads definitely a 90/90 set up will breath a lot better and gain 25+
