Do these heads seem worth it?
I found these on craigslist, and I'm kind of interested. Will these work well with the cam I'm going to get in my sig?

It"s hard to say by just looking at pictures. Some flow numbers would be nice or even some decent shots of the ports. My guess is at that price that the port work is not exactly top notch as it would cost much more than the asking price for porting, milling, and a valve job.

Ok, so I found out the guy that did the work used to work for a shop around here called "Pavlock Performance". They used to be a sponsor on here I think. He said he will put them on a flow bench tomorrow, but he said they flowed 285-290 cfm.

Does it just flatten out the flow more on exit? Seriously, I just thought it was another cosmetic identifier between an LS6 and an LS1 head. Does it really make them that much better? I am not arguing for the sake of arguing. I would go pick up a set of ported LS6 heads in a hearbeat if money permitted.

Many people and myself cant afford AFR, Trick Flow or Dart heads and bought ls6 heads!! There's a lot of proven FACTS ls6 heads are superior than ls1 and i know you know is true!! also is not just another cosmetic identifier like you said "are you drunk" and if it didn't make them that much better why everyone swapping them!!

I wish i could get a loan many that couldn't afford aftermarket heads and doing cam swap bought ls6 heads and I think that drag times and dyno numbers have proven to be superior to Ls1!! Like i said to Slash8915 is you cant afford ported 243 heads I will buy the 853 heads!! it seems a good deal and you can only buy what you can afford
