Default Question for on heads..................?

Ok im fixing to do h/c swap on my 99 camaro ss but not sure if either going with the prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads, or going with the prc ls6 2.5 heads. I know there both flow really good but which ones would give me most rwh? If im going with ms4 cam and ls6 intake:d

Either one will work good. Pick up the PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads if you're on a tight budget. The PRC stage 2.5 LS6 heads will flow a little bit better.

Those 5.3 heads will work fine but if you ever decide to put a bigger motor in it you will need a new set of heads.

Neither of those cams will work with an MS4. MS4 will clear stock sized valve 243's but the stage 2.5 LS6 heads have oversize 2.02/1.57 valves.

The 5.3 stage 2.5 heads will clear a MS3 if TSP sets them up for it (increased valve drop) but not a MS4.............

You hit the nail on the head. Unless the OP is willing to flycut the MS4 will not fit with either of those heads. If you are looking for a cam close to the MS4 that will fit you might consider our Tsunami cam. It has a little less duration which allows for more piston to valve clearance.

It won't unless it's set up for it.. and TSP does modify their heads with that package by sinking the valves. Keep in mind though, this will change the installed height of the springs (because unless they shorten the stems they will sit higher), so it will effect rocker wipe, spring pressure, and push rod length.. so make sure you measure and check all of that.
