i really need some help here im having a really bad problem i cant seem to hook up my new autometer tech i did alot of looking but just cant seem to find out where to hook it up if someone could help me out this would be great

What year is your car? I hooked mine up at the pcm. under the hood, pass side by the firewall. I am not sure if different years use a different pin for the signal wire thats why I asked.

 

its a 2002 ws6 trans am

 

The signal wire is pin 35 in the pcm, it is a white wire. There is a detailed writeup on how to install it at www.installuniversity.com. Look under installation instruction. Then scroll down to the transmission section. Then open the one labeled Matt Harlan Shift Lite. That will have all the info you need. Enjoy.
