why don't you just buy a nitrous kit, somewhere in the 200-300 horse range, i'm sure that will give you all the violence your lookin for...

but i would just go with a custom cam, better idea
Def Guy I bet its sick now!
To the OP ever look into anything like the F13, G5X2 or anything of the sort?
I have a mid 220's cam and it has held its own against some bigger cammed cars, ones with a very popular cam on this board like the *cough* Ms4...
Jamie don't sleep to hard at night or those wheels are MINE haha!!!

You prove my point in an ealier post.... more average hp throughout the intended rpm range will beat a car that makes only great peak #'s if not set up properly.

For a race only app. yeah a max effort cam with big gear/stall/intake/exhaust etc....is the way to go but do I want to drive that kind of car from NC to Ohio next week???? Hell no!!. For those of us who want a true streetcar a milder cam is faster and more friendly than a donkey dick w/o ALL the right supporting mods in place.

Jamie the fact is you have a well matched combo and a very fast streetcar....

OP do you want a fun streetcar or a fun racecar????? I chose streetcar because I wannna be able to enjoy mine anytime I get the urge to fire that bitch up.... but that is just me...

i have the polluter cam in my car. just a stock 206kmile 6.0 lq4 with ls6 heads and dual valve springs. still rocking the truck intake. 4l80 with 3400 stall
the cam pulls hard, a lot of the driveability characteristics is due to the tune. i drive my car almost everyday when weather is decent. i dont' have the surging or dirveability issues either. honestly it drives like stock till you hit the go pedal. this dam thing pulls hard throughout the whole rpm range.
but will say one thing this cam loves gears. i started with 411 the moved to 4.57 (gears that i had when ran 11.53@120mph) now i have 5.13 gears and 30 inch tall drag radials. this cam loves to rev. i am not much into roll racing but on the highway this thing hits pretty hard. i have driven Trex cars and the driveability of this cam is much better IMO

i love my vindicator cam. pulls hard even with my shitty 342s. cant wait for the 9 inch and 411s next year. my buddies ta has thunder racing 231/236 cam and that also runs good. with a fast he trapped 120 in the quarter. my car has never been to the track but there is a vid of me racing him, in the street racing section.

I'm thinking the best thing now would be a custom grind. Perhaps the tick deluxe kit without the polluters, and a custom grind
Would be the way to go.....

speaking of fly cuttin. that is something im for sure not interested in..
i would love to go extreme all out but, i dont wanna pull the heads..
so the custom grind needs to be consiterate of the p.t.v. clearances...
do you guys think i can make my LS1 a cam only hwy king without fly cutting, and a sick custom grind.....? perhaps....?

I have the polluter in my car and love it. if your in to roll racing, this is a hard hitting cam. my car feels like you hit it with a 50 shot at 2800 rpm's and pulls like a **** to 6800 where my limiter is. tick installed it, and alvin @ pcm4less tuned it. drivabilty is great with mine also. just choose a cam you like, and you'll be happy with it.

i had the polluter in my 02 LS1 with pacesetter longtubes LS2 intake dull springs 4:11 gears and a 6spd and i absolutly LOVED the cam im not a track guy myself just like street racing and my car would hold its own against a lot of mid to low 11 sec cars. FOR SURE a HWY queen!!!! im building a callies 403 iron block and was debating weather or not to go custom grind or stick with the polluter but i think im gonna plan on putting the polluter back in it cuz i liked it so much i dont know how many complements i got on the sound and how hard it pulled all through the gears people couldnt beleive it was a cam only car and i got accused of "SPRAYING" and its very drivable i drove mine at least 4 days out of the week and didnt have ANY issues as long as u have a good gear you love the cam... just thought id give you some input good luck on your choice
