Polluter cam? Good for hwy hammerin?
my next step is a cam, just got my moser 9 from brute speed.
so heads are too much chee$e right now. balla on a budget my wife tells me..
anyway, my goal is to be a hwy king/street car. (no strip.)
Is the polluter gunna be better because its proven vs a custom grind.
I want to be the sickest street worthy/streetable i can be. i think im just afraid of leaving any hp's on the table.
some helpful input would be cool.
thanks stunna

Well technically the polluter is a custom grind, lol. I have the polluter and it is a awesome street cam. I went from a ms3 to the polluter and would never go back. You will make great power down low, middle, and up top. My car was built more for the street and i love it. Hope this helps.

I would have to disagree with the part where you said:
Nothing against the polluter, but in the end, that may not be what you are looking for.
I think a custom grind tailored for what YOU will be doing is the better proven method. That is why you hear of people with a custom 224/227 cam waxing someone with a 240's duration. Bigger is not alway better. Only when refering to Texas.
Yes, a big cam is pretty easy to get away with if you are a from-roller.

i think with some good roller rockers, i think i can brake into the 420's +
hp area with a cam only set up..... i just want the power band to be violent..
i mean, like at 4500 rpm. floor it and it just gets off.... not like a truck cam, that just excellerates and pulls the same at all rpms like the stock cam.
i want the violent excell above 4500 rpm....thoughts

The polluter was designed to provide low to mid power and tons on the top end. You will feel a difference.
As far as 4500rpm pull, are you doing this to street race or what? And yes it will pull like damn train past 4500rpm.
