That was what I was going to ask as well. What cam do you have? Telling us its a .600 lift cam means nothing.

Need more specs on that camshaft to start. And I agree, if you haven't already retuned, do so. Do you have a before/after graph from the same dyno and same/similar weather conditions?

I think they are asking for the specific cam specs. (all specs including what lobes its cut on and where it came from) Also, details about your first dyno, and details about your second or after dyno. My questions-->>>And how experienced is the tuner? All other mods done to the car. Help us help you.

I'd set AFR's so they read 12.7:1 @ WOT and start @ 25* of timing flat @ WOT from 2800rpm on up to redline. Use that as a safe baseline pull (watch for KR). Add in 2* and do another pull (watch for KR). If more power was made and no KR, add in 2* more and do another pull (watch for KR). I wouldn't go past 30* of timing. You'll see where the sweet spot is when it stops making power - don't just keep adding until you see KR. My bet is you'll find best numbers around 28*. If you see KR, it'll most likely appear between 4500~5500rpm.

Ouch I'm saddened to see this, I was just looking at the PRC ls6 heads. Wondering if these heads were kinda just passed on thru and never went into the cnc machine? Bc a stock 243 head usually gains 10-15rwhp over stock.

That's an impossibility. Something else is wrong with the combo causing the low numbers.

OP: Did you have any luck getting us a dyno graph for before/after? Any chance they locked the stall for the before and dyno'd it unlocked for the after?

KR = Knock retard - the PCM will pull timing if the knock sensors detect detonation in the motor.

Timing might be too high causing you to lose power. Just because a motor can take extra timing doesn't mean you should run that much. I'd be curious to see the numbers around 27 or 28 degrees of timing.

OK - but my point still remains. It may make more power if you dial back the timing a bit. It is possible to go too far with timing and start losing power.

Was the new curve SAE as well or STD? Is the weather input on the dyno working correctly? There are a lot of other variables to sort out.

The weird thing about that graph is torque and hp don't cross at 5250.......
