Default Cam going in tonight, double check my list..

This is not my first cam swap but I wanna make sure I'm not forgetting anything, (running back in forth to the parts store sucks) so here it goes:

impact wrench
leakdown hose
torque wrench
pen magnets
jackstands
fuel line disconnect
hand tools
new plugs
gapper
2-gl dexcool
crank puller
cheater bar
catch pan
valvespring tool (thanks Larry)
drill and bit for idle
hacksaw (headers going on too!)
cam
springs
asp pulley, belts, new bolt
pushrods
beer and band-aids...........

Did I cover it all??

Water pump gasket
Timing cover gasket
New pulley bolt
locktite
assembly lube for the cam

While your at it you could replace the timing chain for $30 and if you do be careful not to tear the O ring seal on the oil pump when you pull it and bolt it back on.

Dont really need the fuel line disconnect,

every thing else looks good, have fun and take your time!

Street Stalker: where did you get your timing chain for 30.00?

I bought a new GM OEM timing chain from a local dealership. The double chains is not something i got to have because i have yet to see or hear of anyone breaking a stock chain.
