Can you send me some detailed pricing and specs on your 346 500rwhp engines? Can I install it myself (at my cousins shop), or do you need the motor?
email me asap!

For the $$ it costs to get up to 500 RWHP on stock CID I'd go with a 383 or bigger cube motor that has MORE TQ THROUGHOUT the ENTIRE RPM range instead of the peak power alot of the 500 RWHP stock CID cars are doing and it'd be much more streetable, etc. More fun to drive around town b/c you don't have spin it so high.

but
If you're just going to have fun on the street/highway on GSCs or Pilot Sports, you probably won't break the stock 10 bolt, and the stock suspension should be fine. Clutch perhaps.
So you could keep it on street tires for now, and wait a bit to do all the drivetrain mods.

well my car is only 9 hp shy of 500 hp .. but I have the same package as brents vette but I am pushing a Moser 9". The car is very drivable on the street and you don't have to rev the **** out of it to have fun. Give Dave a call he will get you started toward a 500 hp monster..

I was wondering how the engine would behave cruising downtown, etc. Does it have cats? I can't gets the women if the car smells like octane boost Maybe a stroker would be better and easier to drive? For a few grand more I think a 422 could be had. I have a 2001 Z06 pretty much stock.

Well the advantage the stroker has is that you are getting forged pistons, forged rods, and a forged crank. With the money you will spend on a TOP OF THE LINE heads/cam package with all the little goodies, you can almost build a budget 383 thats about as fast.
You just wont be able to brag that you have a record breaking 346 or a record breaking 383.
