car was mail order tuned by pcmforless.com

now heres my issue. the car appears to jump from really rich to really lean constantly. itll startup and usually idle. sometimes its hard to even keep it running. the car has 0 power. just barely enough to move it, and it backfires bad while its going through the powerband. It will barely make it to 5000 rpm. I was throwing codes for my front o2 sensors and my maf sensor. high voltage and low voltage and circuit terminal L. My maf sensor and my front o2's are brand new. for a couple days i could unplug my maf sensor and it wouldnt affect how it runs at all. my engine sensor fuse was blown so i started rooting through the wiring looking for a wire grounding itself out somewhere because i put another fuse in and it hasnt blown yet. i havent found anything. i did however find a vaccum leak on one of the line coming off of the intake manifold. if i cover it up, the car tries to die then revs back to life and idles a little better but the car still has no power and sounds like ****. I need any suggestions or ideas i can get guys so please help me out.

If theres anyone in the pittsburgh area that think they can help me out PLEASE pm me. I need to get this figured out and any help would be greatly appreciated.

not trying to start anything but has the tune been checked? might ask pcmforless, or try a mail order from frost but after a cam install you need to hit up a dyno asap.

Default Tune!

A buddy of mine had this problem after a head and cam swap. You have a terrible tune. You will prolly have to reset the factory tune and take ther car to a tune shop. I would say that sending the computer in by itself can't be as good without the car there. There is a place in Raleigh nc if you feel up for the drive they are well known and trusted however that is where aforementioned friend got his car tuned.

Tune

This is your problem, IMO. Try to get a dyno tune and I bet you will see the results you were after. Mail order tunes are too "generic" and every car is different. Good luck!

Can you verify that the cam was installed correctly? Dot to dot? Degreed? The statement made about no power and backfiring sounds like the cam maybe off a tooth.

And at what point did it start running badly? Was it when you installed the mail order tune?

You really can't expect a car with that cam and other mods to run right on a mail order tune. Put your stock tune back in, adjust your throttle blade using the adjustment screw so your car won't die and take it to a tuner and get it dyno tuned.

So you had all these mods already and it ran ****?

It ran ****, then you modded?

You didn't bother to even tune after mods, then it ran **** so you did a mail order tune and it didn't fix the problem.

Sorry man, as before, get the god damn thing Dyno tuned.

A Dyno will pick up what the hell is wrong,

UPDATE:
started tearing down the motor and i think i found my problem. One of my pushrods Is broken in half. Got the top half out, but it looks like the bottom half is gonna take a bit of work to get out... And it chewed its pathway in the head up pretty good too. Is it possible that this is the cause of ALL my problems?
