No need to trade any in... They are not rebuilt...These are brand new
replacecments...

I would think it to be a great upgrade when changing cam/springs..

Why reuse 100 thousand mile rockers ?? Only $189.00 ...

I predict these will sell well..Until now our only option was to send in the stock rocker arms to be "rebuilt/upgraded", and have down time, etc. This is basically doing the same thing, but cheaper in the long run. Not to mention faster.

to me it looks a great price if they are good quality and we have no issues. I couldnt get anyone to do a deal on a set without shipping mine back to the USA first , or without having to mod my old ones myself, which i wasnt happy to do, as its old parts on a new engine. (have reused my old ls1 heads etc). if these are new then its a bargain, and my set is hopefully winging its way to me now. :-)

How are these cheaper? The trunion upgrade is around $135, and you can have it installed at a total price of around $200. Not to mention the shops doing this already have rockers done so there is no downtime. Sell stupid somewhere else.

if $189 is for a set of 16 rockers, then I really dont see how these are remotely close to "creeping up" on the price of a full roller set that's worth a $hit.

i'm considering either a trunion upgrade, or these over the winter, as I slide a fairly decent cam in my 243 headed lq4.

to be able to just buy a set of BRAND NEW gm rockers with good trunion bearings, and not have any further downtime is well worth it in my opion.

Not really sure why you quoted me while saying this, as I obviously agree with you since I stated these are almost HALF the price of a good roller rocker.

My bad, I think I just interpretted your reply the wrong way, I took it as you were saying it was a bad thing that they were nearly half the price of a full roller set, as if you would go ahead and pay the extra for a roller set.

Just a misunderstanding.

The new design has roller bearings also, but much larger in diameter. Big difference is in the bearing carrier. It presses on to the trunnion and the rocker, so it is all one piece,
and can not pop off like the old ones..

I have pressed one apart to get better photos, as they say,
"A picture is worth a 1000 words"

Because you can't seem to make up your mind if these are a good or bad idea. Just my .02 though
