Default people running a 230/234 110 LSA cam please come in

I'd like some input from anyone running a 230/234 110 LSA cam. Dyno numbers, track times, drivablity, how hard was it to tune, etc. I'm almost 99% sure this is the cam I'm going with, but would like some feedback from people who have this cam.

This will be going in my 02 WS6, 6 speed car. Current mods are long tubes and dual exhaust. I've also got AFR 205 62cc heads that will be intalled once I get my cam. My goal is 450+ rwhp and have a nice torque/power under the curve.

230/238 .612, .605 110+4 LSA

15* overlap, power range 2200>6800 rpm with LS6 intake.

Will I have enough piston to valve clearence with that cam and the milled AFR heads? I don't want to flycut.

That can only be determined by measuring, will it clear, it should but by how much is another question.

What would be the advantage of 230/238 cam be over the 230/234?

3 more degree overlap, slightly better valve events for top end power

I just wish I would know beforehand if that cam would fit without me needing to flycut. I think that cam would be great because it would give me the low end torque/power, still perform at higher RPM's and have a mean *** idle, which is something I do want. Plus, I know you know your ****, so if you think that cam would be better than the one I had listed, I'll do it for sure.

Sounds like a good speced cam for the afr heads...it should fit fine, still check though...

the intake valve is alot closer than the exhaust for a set duration...people run 24x/24x cams without flycutting but that is on the ragged edge...

for reference the trex is 242/248 on 110

Probably not. That cam Predator suggest is in the 230's of duration on a 106 ICL. That is going to make for TIGHT ptv clearances. I doubt that cam will clear on most milled heads until something's done with the valve job to sink the valves in.

But, it's never a bad idea to check it.

So then do you think the 230/234 110+0 LSA cam would fit ok?
