Eps 226/230 vs futral f13
I have been researching camshafts for quite a while now for my 2000 corvette. It has an ls6 intake with stock heads. It will be getting lontubes when I install a cam along with springs, pushrods, etc. I have it narrowed down between the eps 226/230 and the f13. What do you think?

The power bands will be similar, with the FM13 probably edging out a little more power up top. The EPS cam will be A LOT quieter on the valvetrain, and probably have a tad better manners.
FWIW, I made 400ft lbs of TQ @ 3600 rpms with FM13/TEA 1.5s and 11.5:1 compression about 7 years ago. Final #'s were 460/414. Way back before FAST intakes existed.

those EPS cams are really quite on your valvetrain & for your DD EPS gets my vote ...*02WS6TURK* has the same cam & you can get alot of good review from this cam from him & other members on this forum .... F13 maybe a better cam comparitively but those EPS lobes are really making great numbers with lower impact on your valave train.

Sounds like they are both good cams. I take it to the track ocassionally but most of the time i just drive it on the street. Will be shifting at around 6200 rpm. The eps sounds like it would be better for the valvetrain.

yea do the cam i listed two posts up. You'll make great power through the entire curve and make great torque. The cam has 6 degrees of overlap at .050 but that should be pretty easily tuned. This cam will lope pretty hard as well, i don't know if you were looking for that, but its a byproduct of this cam.
