Default weight of 5.3l vs 6.0l iron block motors

I assume that an iron block 5.3l weighs pretty much the same as an iron block lq4 6.0l? I couldnt find any direct comparisons between the two. I was going to swap in a 5.3l and turbo it, but Im thinking that if they weigh the same and are the same physical size...why not go 6.0l? Main difference is bore and stroke correct?

Within a couple pounds of each other, same exterior phsycial dimensions only change is bore diameter.

Bare Block to bare block, I'd say the 6.0L would way slightly less. Only cause it would have less material in it, ie the bore. 6.0L = 4" bore and the 5.3L = 3.779" bore. Looking at .22" of material out of each bore.

The pistons weigh more. But the block weighs less... Is this a serious question? Go big! More cubes the better. A few pounds is negligible when you make that much more power

I agree, I want to swap a 6.0L+ in everything I have, save for my G8, I'd really like an LSA 6.2L for that one.
