im doing a lq9 swap into my 02 ss and its time to look for a cam for my set up. im ganna run stock l92 heads with prc dual springs and a stock ls3 intake with 1 7/8s long tubes. i want a strong healthy cam that has good torque. should i get a off the shelf cam or custom? its a weekend/street car that see's the track here & there. thanks for any input and advise.

EPS is your solution. Geoff knows his camshafts! My cam is one of his off the shelf grinds. For the lttle bit of head work I have on a set of $500 5.3 heads with just a cam and fast 90/90 I am very pleased. I am planning to get a set of billy bad *** heads and have him grind up a cam for me. If I'm putting 475 to the tire through a th400 with a 4000 stall thru a 12 bolt with my current set up,what do you think she will make with a set for good heads and a EPS grind? Good luck man!

You can download Cam Quest from the comp website for free. Its a good baseline tool to get you headed in the right direction. When you get down to the specifics and want to find the exact fit, you will know what to ask when you place your order. Just food for thought...
