need some help,which bolt goes where?

Default need some help,which bolt goes where?

im putting my motor back together and some of my bolts gotput out of place,need to know size and length for the 4 bolts holding cam plate?the 3 bolts holding sproket on cam,and 4 bolts holding oil pump on.thanks for any help!!!

I just need length of bolts! Think they are all 10mm

Hello , how are You today ? I just wanted to let You know that those bolts are 8mm/ 1.25pitch . The hex head of the bolt is 10mm . I will go outside to my build and see if I can't get the info You need .

Thank you very much!!I had them laid out and my 6 year old got into them,and now I don't know which is for which!I guess I should have kept better track!!thanks for your help!!

The cam retainer plate bolts are 20 mm long , the cam gear bolts are 23 mm long , and the oil pump mounting bolts are 23 mm long , anything over about 25 or 26 mm on the oil pump mount bolts You would run the risk of cracking the block . Not a problem , that's what were all here for . Well , most of us anyway . Good luck

I'm thinking the total length for the oil pump screws are 26 mm,I only had 4 screws 20mm the rest are all about 25 to 26 mm!!any ideas?

hello , really the best way to check is to screw the bolt you think is close into the hole finger tight until it bottoms and then put the pump , or whatever item you're bolting on the surface where it will be bolted to next to the bolt you threaded in and make sure there is at least 2 or 3 mm to spare . in other words the bolt head should be below the surface of the item to be bolted . If this does'nt make sense to you , reply back and i wil try to explain it more clearly or make a drawing or something .
