Default Which stall with a MS3

I have a 2000 Z with stock heads and I was looking to get the MS3. I have an A4 and was wondering what stall to put with it. The mods are (if it matters): SLP Ram Air, Lid, descreened MAF, smooth bellows, longtubes, y-pipe.

If you keep it N/A put something big in it, 4000-4300 range. If you plan on spraying it or FI run around 3200-3400 in it. Call Chris at Circle D, he will put one together for your specific setup.

PI or Yank, he mentioned Circle D. These are my top 3 favorite brands.

Yank or Vigilante 4000. If it is going to see nitrous I would run a 3800.

You are getting quite old...

What 60' do you cut with your Yank!!!!! SS4000!!!?

EDIT::LOL.... At that race weight... With 1000+ DA.. With those mods.. And you are cutting 1.5Xs? And you are trying to throw it in my face that PTC is **** compared to Yank? What a joke.
Open your eyes man. Yank makes a killer converter without a doubt but there are other companies that are just as good, and better. If you venture out of this forum ever, take a look around. Hell, head over to yellowbullet (a true racing site) and ask them what they think about PTC. You don't know ANYTHING about PTC but are so quick to shoot them down.
I'm done with you.

**I am not downing Yank by any means (like I said, they make one hell of a converter), just trying to get this moron to open his damn eyes instead of being a nutswinger for Yank.

1.50 on teeny tiny 255/50/16 Drag Radials in my 300rwhp car. Seen anyone go quicker on that tire? Cause I haven't. I'm hoping to get mid 1.4's with a 275/50/16 Drag Radial this season.

You need an anger management class. I was just having a little fun with you, hence the smiley. I haven't trashed PTC at all. I have done research, and they've come pretty highly recommended on yellowbullet. The only issue I have with PTC, which isn't explained on their site, is what they use to build their converters? Are they billet like the Yank SS, or just a cut open, and restalled GM stock converter?

Call me a fan boy if you must, but I've never had a single issue with any of my Yank converters. They have been prompt and curtious every time I've talked to them, and the SS converters come with a 3 year warranty. I also don't see PTC sponsoring this site, where Yank has been a sponsor from the beginning with tons of cars running their products.

Any decent converter with a 4000+ stall will get you down the track just fine. I'm currently running a Vig 3600 because I planned on spraying the car originally but I changed my mind.

David was right when he said if your only gonna run N/A go 4000 stall or bigger. That will put you in the power band quicker to really make that Ms3 shine. If your spraying 3200-3800 is good. Anything bigger and you run the risk of blowing thru your converter on the gun. I have a 3200 vig with the Ms3 and I spray a 150 shot at it. I cut a 1.6 60 ft with Stock shocks and springs on slicks spraying off the line.
