Paperwork with texas-speed shortblocks? do they send any
i have Question About Tsp Short Blocks, Do they send ya paper work with the shortblock? If not, how can u prove to a buyer of your car that the correct shortblock is whats in it... i had a local shop order and install my lq9 402 in my car. They say there was no paper work sent..
i dont know that my installer didnt build a junkyard motor or if its a texas-speed...
is there any marking from texas-speed on their blocks?

I would call them. They are a top notch outfit. I would not doubt what you bought and what they sent is dead on, paperwork or not. If they are like us, we send paperwork separate from the purchased goods.

Each engine is numbered. Typically on the front main cap. We have every build sheet on file. Every engine leaves with break-in procedures, install tips and recommendations, and a copy of the invoice. Most of the shops that install them throw it all away and ask questions later. Your short-block had that paperwork with it as well. We don't sell "junkyard" motors, period. I would hope you can tell that from looking at it. If you can give me your name I should be able to find the engine number from the engine and send you the info. on it.

Back at ya!
I know what he meant after rewording it. I just didn't want anyone else reading the thread thinking we would build something like that and send it to someone. We have to be very clear on certain things. You never know how someone reading it is going to take it. We are good on it!
