Default flow Data fast vs ls6

Got a fast lsx intake today, pulled it out of the box and slapped it on some heads. In the past I was pestimistic about the flows over an ls6 but I was suprisingly shocked by the results. With the lsx attached to a set of stg2 ls6 and stg2 5.3l's the flows were up over the ls6 from low to high lift. Here they are
tested 28 inches 3.9 bore
stg2 ls6
lift- rad- ls6 -lsx
200-151-144-147
300-208-202-206
400-260-244-250
450-281-260-269
500-297-274-282
550-307-284-291
600-316-290-302

stg2 5.3 {not the new cnc}
lift- rad- ls6- lsx
200-148-143-145
300-205-200-204
400-255-243-248
450-275-258-265
500-290-270-277
550-302-275-282
600-310-280-289

I will flow test with my new stg2 cnc,2.5 and 2.5 ls6 heads next week. My 2.5 heads were disigned for increased flow through the intake so I cant wait to see the results. Basicly we are looking at the ticket for consistant 500+ rwhp cars. My estimation is 10hp over the ls6 intake just with the extra runner flow alone and 10-15 with the larger 78 and 90mm necks = 20-30 hp over the stock ls6 on ***** to the wall heads cam cars. Testing was done with bone stock ls6 and lsx intakes, I will also try to do a little somthin to the runners and see what I get. To be continued

Awesome work man, how do you think your ported ls6 intake and larger TB would compare to the LSX setup?

Your results go back to my original theory 3 months ago, the only real benifits with that manifold will be to the end users with real flowing cyl heads.
