I dont think its possible with an Auto. Heads and Cam auto cars are having a hard time getting 400rwhp let alone a cam only car.

400 rwhp, very easy on stock heads in a m6. However you'll need heads and a decent size cam to get 400 rwhp in a a4.

This is with stock heads and 918 springs as only mod.

I dont think its possible with those mods on a A4 with such a small cam. Are sure there is no NOS under the seat LOL.... It could be a bad dyno too, but no way in this life an A4 will get 402rwhp with those mods and such a small cam.

Your car is a freak. Those are the highest numbers I have ever seen for the 216/220 cam on stock heads. Most bolt on M6 cars with that cam are in the 370's with that cam.

You're not going to tell us you had 17x11's and 315's on the rear are you?

Reliably (no being all freaky), you can hit 400rwhp in an M6 with bolt ons (LT's, LS6 intake, lid, catback, pulley, TB) and a 224/224 duration cam. Most A4's won't make 400 rwhp without heads with the 224/224 cam.

I would like to remain optimistic on the A4 reaching 400 I just installed a cam.

I think my car probably has 380 rwhp. I will get it dyno tuned soon.

I can't hardly believe this, I'm assuming your converter is locked up and I'd still question that. My old set up had a 230/238 with a nice pair of heads and all bolt ons barely hit 400 rwhp (unlocked) 440 locked. I can't imagine a cam only (that small) making any where near 400 even if you had it locked.

Thunder just hit 440 RWHP with a huge cam and stock heads. My guess is, had that car been an A4, it would have been in the range of 405-415 RWHP...so yeah, i bet its doable with an A4. Its just you'll probably have to put up with some pretty annoying side effects.
