Holy crap that MUST have been one HAPPY dyno!!
That's about 20+rwhp more than what the average probably is. It's common to see 335-355 rwhp maybe, but 370 is very unrealistic. After watching the vid (presuming no one made dyno claims) I would believe the bolt on part and attribute it to just a strong running car in general with a good driver, which it appears to be regardless, except for two parts. The two Z's with your mods plus cams which you walk on hard from start to finish. Thats a hard one to explain to me.
There are different ways people are looking at things here... most people dont include different air cleaners and piddly stuff as mods.. No ones really ever seen an M6 ls1 f-body put down 370whp with a good set of headers and tune? That is all that was done to the engine, granted the car I think had a different lid. But it was a car here in town a guy had that speed inc tuned like 6-7 years ago. I was impressed also, but seen the car for sale, talked to the guy and seen all the paper work, mods, and dyno sheet. maybe he was a lier and forged all the documents????
But a C5Z... like others are saying is a whole new ball game.. if you say an ls1 can put down 335-355whp on average... Why couldnt a LS6 which are factory rated like 100 more HP put down 400whp ?? Especially with headers and tuned decent?

I don't have any doubt that a C5 Z06 can make 400+ with full bolt ons.Full bolt ons can be worth 60- 70 hp in an Fbody M6. I have seen an Fbody with bolt ons and Z06 cam trap 116 on motor weighing 3500+ lbs with driver. So factor in the LS6 heads and lighter weight and better aerodynamics. Z06's are only around 3150 - 3200 lbs so a bolt on one could easily trap low to mid 120's in the 1/4. Those cars a light and very aerodynamic and are deadly from a roll. Another thing is the motor definitely doesn't rev quick enough to be spraying. You can usually hear the revs jump really fast when someone hits a kit. His engine seems to rev more inline with a naturally aspirated setup in my opinion. The right setup, tune and driver can make all the difference in the world.

Dynos are a bullshit test too, theres no consistency in them whatsoever. I think his numbers are believable, but even if he didnt make that much, he still could trick a dyno into giving him that much.

how are you walking 2 c5 z's like yours that have cams? Are they untuned? It's definately not your shifting lol j/k... not knocking at all bro your car runs awsome congrats!
A good tune will get you an est. extra 50 h.p., most full exhaust systems i.e. full tube headers, no cats may give you 20-30 h.p. extra. I suppose it could be possible, even with just a CAI system as his intake gives mabye another 10-20 h.p. all that just added up to an est. 60-80 h.p. over bone stock. Otherwise, he is either spraying or he does have some mild cam work with it.

dyno calibrations can be altered to read whatever they are wanted to read... car is fast for what it is to be hanging with that 400hp evo for sure but at the end of the day its the way the car performs and not the dyno numbers that matter. i've seen a c5z with intake, tune, full exhaust, headers, and a FAST 90/90 setup make 412whp on our dyno before and our dyno reads LOW!! so i wouldnt put it past it.

I read the tune off the car in question. The ve table is stock, the maf table is stock, the iat vs rpm spark table is stock. He does NOT have an aftermarket cam.
In fact, its a pretty subpar tune, and he is seeking out a retune from the guy who did the original. If the maf and ve are untouched, then you can guess where/how the tuner made the fueling adjustments.

Oh and if a tuner was to slack off and take improper shortcuts, its probably not beyond his moral code to adjust the dyno cal to show inflated #s. In fact, someone like that probably just considers it good business.
Oh and another thing, the gears and all vss stuff is also stock. Its probably just easier to say what's changed in the tune. Fan temp (fans come on 10 deg sooner), pe ratio (ugh), p/n fuel cut rpm, !cags, and one small section of the HO timing table adjusted to a static value of 27.. about 25-30 cells, starting at .52 g/cyl and 4k rpm.
