I'm about 90% sure those old ETP heads have some longer valves in them which are harder to find. That shouldn't be a problem unless there's a problem to begin with. If any of them need to be replaced, it may take longer to get them as well as being more expensive.

The standard valve were REV, and there not hard to get. But not a stock LS1 length

both those rockers work, sometimes you have to shim the stands, and sometimes mill them to have the right sweep.
check the coolant and steam holes to the HG your gona use. Some were blocked on some of those casting. A lot of cars ran fine with them half lining up, but you can redrill them or slot them to match your HG and block. Its a good casting, people have gone 8.6 NA on them.

Do you have any part numbers? Some guys I know had a problem getting new vales and they tried REV, Ferrea, etc. and couldn't find shelf stock valves for them.

There is a set on here right now for dirt cheap ($120 shipped) form Christin in FL with red c5 that made 511whp with a set and streetsweeper cam years ago, Miami9???? on here. But they are more for a 4.06+ bore

I answered your PM...and there is nothing difficult to find about those cylinder heads, and no problems about running them everyday, soft/hard, producing some amazing average power!!!

Yeah, that's basically what I was talking about when I said "hard to find". You can't just call up a company and have the valves there in a few days like you can with other heads.

Pretty much anything you want to learn about those ETP 215 cc Cylinder Heads is in the thread I started January 2007 with my 346 ci na of 511 rwhp...

Videos, pictures, graphs, compare, results in vivo, documentation, data...can be found in the link on this forum below:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...1rwhp-fti.html

Pretty long read I know...you will tell me if it worth it!!!

Enjoy
