nope, its an auto and only running an ls6 intake those both are going to hurt you. You should look into some sort of ram air intake also.

his 10-bolt and tranny will give out way before he gets close to that number as well. Mine went out and I was putting down about 400 before my stall, but that was on a load bearing dyno

here is a good thread to look at for a build if you have some coin to spend. He picked up another 10 with a good merge.

Im running the exact same set up. Except with a 102 104 lid and 100mm mass air. Im also having the merge done also. Its getting tuned on the 7th of march. I will have some numbers up then. Did u get the heads milled to 59cc.

it can be done I hear good things about those heads...it is gonna be tight though and he will have to have at least 11.7:1 compression...and hope he has an ls6 intake that lines up correctly(I.E. ports match, so he can get every bit of it)

also like was mentioned in the thread a good merge is constantly overlooked and it is worth it's weight in gold...SD tune also helps, maybe not as much on a stock 75mm Tb and ls6 intake setup since the Tb is most likely the restriction not the maf (if 85mm, if stock 75mm then it is)

good set of headers will had a few more hp too...

if I had a ls6 intake on my car I think it would be in the 46xrwhp range...

for the track a good ram air is one of the best bang for bucks you can get...

I would get a fast 90/92/102 and have it ported by a good source...not all porting is the same

@ j.timbs He hasnt ordered the heads yet but since he has a forged shortblock he was thinking to mill them to 57 cc because he wants the compression.

@chris 1313 What intake are you currently running?

I went with the 59cc cause of the PTV. This set up should be pretty sick. My car is getting finished at Speed inc right now. I bought all this stuff thinking I was gonna have time to finish it when I returned from deployment. I will be going to the track as soon as I get back in april to get some numbers

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...h-c-i-ls1.html

Here is a link to my setup and dyno graph. I'm making 463hp 399tq through a dana 60, steel ds, and 18 x10.5 z06 rims. Cam is a 242/244 xer, 610/612... sd tuned, full bolt ons, no ewp, chrs1313 ram air, ftp lid, through a cheap bbk 85\85.

I have custom ypipe being built with a 3.5" collector extensions, and a flowmaster merge. I might take the plunge and get a ported fast 102/102... I'm trying to keep up with Chris1313 and Rob....jk
