I cannot find any videos online with cammed ls1's going through stock manifolds. They all have headers.

Thanks buddy that would be appreciated, and thanks again to all for dropping their 2 cents.
You got it. I have already heard the car and it sounds really good. I should get my car thursday. With the LM1 it is pretty loud and you can tell it has a cam, it has a good sounding lope, but its nothing annoying.

Very interested! I'm planing the same mods with my tax return. Ported AI 241's, Hinson ported manifolds and high flow catts. Spec'd EPS cam with stockist idle. I want to look and sound bone stock.

My car did 353 rwhp and 339 rwtq through stock exhaust manifolds, stock y-pipe and SLP LM1. I have an EPS 222/226 .596/.598 114 cam with stock Ls2 243 heads and BBK intake manifold. Im sure if you went with atleast a 224 cam (still able to pass Cali smog) and a good set of heads and an intake manifold you should be close to the 370twhp

are you an m6 or an a4?? I was expecting a little better numbers with 243 heads if you were an m6?? Do you have an ls6 intake and a lid??

Also could you please post a video of startup, idle, and revs??

Thanks buddy.

I understand the reasoning for having to leave the exhaust manifolds on, and those aren't horrible numbers, but its about 40-50rwhp and ft-lbs off the pace. I'd be pissed, but props for working with what you've been given.

Bummer about all that red tape you guys have to put up with over there. CA has much bigger problems than a couple noisy muscle cars.

Its up to you if its worth it for heads or not. If you do get some ported and milled ls6 heads for example you should expect to see a gain in both MPG and power.

Must suck not having a smog hookup.

If I was worried about smog I'd do a Procharger setup instead of spending all this money on heads and cams for minimal gains
