is it possible to make 450rwhp without doing heads?

i have a 2001 camaro ss with some mods, it supposely has over 400 hp already says the guy i bought it off of. But i want a lil more rwhp without messing with the heads.

Only heard of one and was 241 heads with a TREX

its just a stock cam, but i was gonna get the vrx5 cam

idk, its got slp headers 3in, slp loud mouth exhaust with no cats, bigger air mass flow sensor, cooler thermostat, slp lid, diablo sport tune. Then over the winter i put 4.10 gears in it with a spec stage 3 clutch.

Local guy here pulled 405 with a cam only and LS6 intake on a 98 TA. That's all the info I have, he was telling me about it last fall (2009.)

If anyone here remembers, there was ONE guy here who claimed he made 400 on just bolt-ons and a good tune. But on a stock cam, it won't happen.

^ No such thing as BEST. (other than the FAST crowd). Anything on these cars makes power... Except a TB spacer and smooth bellows. Just do some research to find what will work best for your goals and wallet.
