why google images when i can pull the cap on my own cars and see a fully functional cooling system?

i know what a neglected cooling system looks like, i dont need to look up images of it that people are trying to pass off as dexcool ruining their system insted of themselves.

I p[ersonally have NEVER seen a newer fbody car that the coolant overflow tank didn't look scummy from dexcool. If you pull the cap yes the system looks clean but its really not. Dexcool is slowly eatting everything ONLY because the cheap ****** at gm didn't use a closed overflow system. Now if you close the system up tight including the overflow system and no problem UNLESS you get a tiny leak someplace and get air in the system. Now imagine that happening?????????

Dexcool is excellent in a perfect car wuith a perfect owner and a perfect service shop

Face it its gm's way of making sure their dealer stay busy...................you think a dealer survives on new car sales? Every dealer i know of bread and butter is their service work and dexcool keeps um coming back. GM can make all the excuses or make up bs like poor maintenace.

NO one is fussier than me and I had such a mess @28k on my TA is was just stupid. 1st the water pump gaskets failed, then the top of the rad and rad cap failed(dexacid ate the sealing surface on the rad and the rubber in the cap. Well after three caps and repairing the rad twice i started doing some reading.

Now my Formula with 78k on it is still clean but the overflow is starting to scum up(and the coolants been changed THREE TIMES). I've noticed once the dexcool acid gets started its very hard to stop. You should see what it does in the passages in the cylinder headgaskets too! I've seen some completely blocked!
