Just tossing around the idea of a cam swap for my car. It an 02 Z28 Full bolton's with an ss3600 on the way and 323 gears. I'm only interested in fastest E/T at the track and street. I dont care what it sounds like or drives like. The car is a weekend toy and is not my daily driver. Also will be sprayin a 150 shot through a nitrous outlet plate. I may be going with a nice set of heads later down the road as well. What cam would you guys run? Thanx in advance!

sounds like you got one hell of a machine right now. have you ever dynoed? imo you are nearing the threashold of your stock shortblock. id say get a set of heads, a small-medium cam, and run a 100-125 shot. any more and it may go boom. but as far as choosing a new cam, comp, tsp, or tr would be able to help you out a little more.

I bought this car 2 months ago bone stock and trying to go faster than my previous lt1 car in my sig. I'm @ high altitude so I can get away with a little more mods and power than you sea level guys.

I have the Lunati Voodoo Series Cam (#60512) 232/238 .599"/.601" 113/109. The cam is not a really huge cam but a bit larger than the Torquer V2. It's not lazy at all on the low- mid range. The advertised rpm range is 2400-7000. I would recommend it. But at the same time the Torquer V2 is a great cam and TSP is always super cool to work with. Good luck man!

So many cams so little time and money lol. Im most likly going to have a custom eps cam speced seems like they are making the most power on stock heads

SNL V4 would be what I'd recommend for the best avg power(what gets a car down the track fastest) on a 346 and would compliment a set of ported heads should you decide to add them. What heads are you considering and what rpm are you going to be spinning it to. Of course, the DA in Colorado is going to lessen the stress on your rodbolts

his turn around time has improved greatly... got mine in 2 weeks. there are so many good options out there; if you are planning on running nitrous, pick a cam with a larger split b/t intake and exhaust duration. My two favorites are:
EPS 230/238
TSP 233/239
EPS 230/238
TSP 233/239
