They are probally the same as AS stage 2 heads.
LG motorsports uses AS for their heads.

LG only started using AS heads in the last 6 months or so. they also use another source for the top of the line heads if thats what you are looking for or are willing to spend and wait on them..

I would have them flow tested and not go by what someone else said. Also flow them with the LS6 or LSX intake that will help give a better picture of what they will do.

My S1 JPR LS6's had the A ingraved in one of the ports too. I'm not sure why it was there I assumed it was from the factory and JPR didn't remove enough material to wipe it out.

So what is the significance of the "A" in the intake port? My SDPC CNC #243 casting LS6 had a "B" in the intake port.. ???

With a good (fresh) valve job, I think the LG (not AS) LS6 heads are supposed to flow in the 315-ish range at .600, though I am not certain.

Lift CFM
200 115
300 174
400 230
500 276
550 283
600 300
650 307
At 700 they backed off, I do have to say; they could have done a way better job on those heads. I'm not going to get into it now, but man what the.......

Uhhh if these are used heads, those numbers are not bad at all.

Exactly. That's why I specified a fresh valve job... there can easily be 10-15 cfm lost because of poor flow characteristics around the seat... and, by nature, valve jobs go away over time (that whole "valve slamming shut" thing and all). Depending on how used those heads are, they may just need some freshening up.

All in all, though, 300 at .600 isn't exactly horrid.

They need a new valve job, valve guides and some muching due to the guides having small cracks around the guides when they were inserted. They still have some ruff spotes in the ports that need some work.
